กลับมาพร้อมหนังสือเรียนการสอนวิชาชีวิตด้วยเลือดด้วยเคยครับผม เรื่องราวสืบไปจากคราวที่ผ่านมาข้าราชการสแตรม (Scott Patterson) ได้ทราบปมแล้วว่าตัวต่อ (Tobin Bell) ยังมีผู้ช่วยผู้ลึกลับอยู่อีกคน ด้วยเหตุผลดังกล่าวหากแม้พี่จิ๊กมึงจะม่องไปแล้ว แต่ว่าก็ยังมีคนเดินเกมชุดใหม่ถัดไปอีก สแตรมเลยมานะสืบสวนที่ไปที่มาของผู้ช่วยรายนี้ รวมทั้งมานะจับมันให้ได้คาหนังคาเขา ก่อนที่จะเกมมรณะจะเอาชีวิตคนให้ตายไปอีก
ภาคนี้ยังคงเขียนบทโดย Patrick Melton แล้วก็ Marcus Dunstan จากภาค 4 ส่วนผู้กำกับนั้นแปลงมาเป็น David Hackl ผู้ช่วยผู้กำกับภาค 3 และก็ 4 ที่ตอนนี้ได้รับมอบให้มากำกับแบบเต็มกำลัง ซึ่งตัวหนังผมว่าอยู่ในระดับเดียวกับภาคที่แล้วขอรับ โน่นเป็นยังมีความระทึกใจ ขนพองสยองเกล้า ชั่วร้าย แต่ว่าก็สู้ 3 ภาคแรกมิได้ ซึ่งถ้าเกิดถามคำถามว่าชนะกันที่ไหนก็กล่าวได้ว่าชนะตรง “บท” นั่นแหละนะครับ
ใน 3 ภาคแรกเรื่องราวมันเนียนกลมกลืน การขมวดปมก็ตื่นเต้น ดำเนินเรื่องก็ฉับไวเชิญให้เชื่อตามได้อย่างไม่ยากเย็นอีกนับหนึ่งก็คือ แม้ว่าจะมีช่องโหว่บ้าง แม้กระนั้นคณะทำงานก็ใช้ความไวและก็ความขาดความกรุณาปรานีสร้างความเนียนให้กับหนังได้ ส่วนตั้งแต่ภาค 4 มาบทจะไม่แน่นเท่า ในส่วนของเกมกับเรื่องราวนั้นก็ยังไม่เข้ากันเป็นเนื้อเดียวสักเยอะแค่ไหน

ภายหลังจากภาคก่อนๆพี่จิ๊กสอนให้คนตระหนักถึงคุณประโยชน์ของชีวิตตัวเองแล้ว มาภาคนี้ก็สอนให้เห็นค่าของชีวิตคนอื่นๆ ด้วยเหตุว่าที่จริงแล้วเกมอันนี้นับว่าเป็นเกมที่กรุณาที่สุดแล้วครับผม ขอเพียงแค่เหยื่อทั้งยัง 5 ใจเย็น มีสติสัมปชัญญะ มีความโอบอ้อมนึกถึงคนอื่นๆ มองไม่เห็นชรามากเกินไป ทั้งหมดทั้งปวงก็จะสามารถรอดได้ แม้ว่าจะปางตายก็เหอะ แม้กระนั้นก็ยังพอเพียงจะรอดออกมาได้
เกมในเรื่องก็สะท้อนความเห็นแก่ได้ของคนน่ะขอรับ การฉกชิงเพื่อตัวเองรอด การเหยียบบ่าเหยียบหัว รังแกคนอื่นๆเพื่อต่อชีวิต อะไรกลุ่มนี้เป็นเชื้อร้ายที่แอบแฝงอยู่ในสังคมจริงๆ
ทั้งที่แม้มนุษย์เราเลือกที่จะพึ่งพาอาศัยกัน แบ่งปันให้แก่กัน รู้จักพอเพียงในส่วนของตนเสียบ้าง นึกถึงบุคคลอื่นบ้าง ไม่ต้องถึงกับขนาดนึกถึงแต่ว่าคนอื่นๆก็ได้ แต่ว่าอย่างต่ำก็ให้หันไปมองดูบ้าง ไม่ระรานเขา ไม่ไปเบียนเบียนผู้ใดกันเขา หากทำแบบนั้นได้จริงสังคมคงจะน่าอยู่กว่านี้ ถ้าหากพวกเราลด “การได้” ลง ก็คงมี “ผู้ที่จำเป็นต้องเสีย” ลดลงตามไปด้วย

รู้สึกครับผมว่าเกมแต่ละเกมในภาคนี้มองออกไม่ยาก ขนาดผู้เล่นยังมองออกได้ รวมทั้งนี่ยังเป็น Saw ภาคแรกที่ตัวต่อ (หรือผู้ช่วย) มิได้บอกจบท้ายว่า “เกมจบแล้ว” ก็คงเป็นการชี้แบบนัยๆน่ะขอรับ ว่าเกมนี้แม้ว่าจะกลั่นจากสมองของตัวต่อ แม้กระนั้นก็เนื่องจากพี่ท่านมิได้ลงมือเอง รสมือก็เลยมีทั้งยังพอดีและไม่พอดีผสมกัน
ด้านดารานั้นก็ราวกับชูจากภาคก่อนมาทั้งอัน Tobin Bell ก็ยังตามมาเล่นเป็นพี่จิ๊กได้ ถึงแม้ว่ามึงจะตายไปรวมทั้งเหอะครับผม แต่ว่าบทก็ยังนำพาแกมาขึ้นหน้าจอได้อยู่ดี รวมทั้งพี่ท่านก็ยังแสดงได้ยอดเยี่ยมดีอีกเหมือนปกติ Costas Mandylor ในบท ข้าราชการฮอฟฟ์แมน, Betsy Russell ในบท จิลล์ เมียของตัวต่อ รวมทั้ง Patterson ที่กลับมาแสดงเป็นข้าราชการสแตรม แต่ละรายก็เล่นได้สบายๆขอรับ ก็แสดงมาตั้งหลายรอบแล้วนี่
ที่จริงแล้วหนังภาคนี้จะมีดาราใหญ่ๆมาเล่นร่วมด้วย ดังเช่น บทดินแดน อีริคสัน หัวหน้าของสแตรมนั้นทีแรกๆเขียนไว้เพื่อ William Forsythe มาแสดงขอรับ แม้กระนั้นด้วยเหตุว่าคิวยุ่งเลยควรเป็น Mark Rolston แทน ยิ่งไปกว่านี้ยังมีการเชิญชวนให้ Danny Glover ที่สวมบทบาทนายตำรวจที่ตามล่าตัวต่อนั้นกลับมาแสดงในฉากแฟลชแบ็คด้วย แม้กระนั้นเพราะเหตุว่าคิวไม่ว่าอีกเหมือนกันนะครับ
