He and his members were struggling to make ends meet so they joined the street fight after hours. After a battle with Tobey’s former rival Dino Brewster, they have him complete a rare Ford Shelby Mustang operated by the late Carroll Shelby in exchange for 25% of the proceeds from the car’s sales.
The finished Mustang was to be auctioned off at a party in New York City. Tobey and Dino met Julia Maddon, an English car dealer whose customer, Bill Ingram, wanted to buy the car if they could prove it would last. Over 230 mph, according to Tobey, if the dyno refuses. But Toby took the Mustang to a local track and finished at 234 mph. Ingram was led to buy it for $2.7 million.
