Eight-year-old Nelly recently lost her grandmother. Her parents traveled to her mother Marion’s childhood home to empty the house. Nellie’s mother was very upset about the whole process. and leaves in the night without saying goodbye to Nellie when she goes out to play in the woods. Nellie meets a girl her own age who is building a hut. A young girl named Marian also became friendly and invited Nellie to help her.
When it starts to rain Marion then took Nellie to the house. After Nellie explains that she is visiting the area after her grandmother’s death. Marian then tells her that her own grandmother, Nellie, recently died. When walking past the house Nellie soon realized that it was her grandmother’s house. And Marian is her mother. Shocked, she flees and is relieved when she returns home to find her father present.
